Pro soccer will return to Swangard Stadium this spring, as TSS FC Rovers will begin play in the Premier Development League (PDL) for the 2017 season.
The male professional team will feature an all-Canadian lineup with most players under 23 years of age News 1130 reports. They’ll play in the Northwest Division against teams like Seattle Sounders U23, Lane United of Oregon, Calgary Foothills, and Victoria Highlanders. Read More

The return of USL PDL soccer to the Lower Mainland was announced for the 2017 summer season when TSS FC Rovers was formed, to play out of Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, British Columbia. With the Victoria Highlanders resurrected for the 2016 USL PDL season under local ownership, this meant that after missing the 2015 and 2016 seasons, the Juan de Fuca Plate could be reborn! Read More
TAMPA, Fla. – Based in Vancouver, TSS FC Rovers will participate in the 2017 PDL season after a transfer of ownership from the Washington Crossfire.
“We are excited to bring soccer back to the grass at Swangard Stadium,” General Manager and assistant coach Will Cromack said, “and are delighted to be able to provide more professional player development opportunities to the wonderful soccer market of greater British Columbia.”
Vancouver’s newest team, TSS FC Rovers, is looking for Canada’s best up and coming players to play for their first squad in 2017. If you are a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, could possibly play for our national team one day, and meet the age requirement of 23 and under, we want to see you play!
